If you don't have a smartphone and can't use the mobile app, cellphone banking is the next best thing. This service can be used with any cellphone and offers some of the same features as our app. Take a look through what you can do and how to access cellphone banking:
Transfer funds between accounts
Purchase electricity, airtime and data
Manage savings functions
When prompted, enter your pin (provided to you when you opened your account)
If you would like to reset your pin, call 0860 222 252. Alternatively, visit your nearest branch.
Simply follow these steps:
Enter your cellphone banking pin
Please note: this is NOT your ATM or your Mobile App pin
Select 'Main Menu'
Select 'Prepaid Services'
Select what you want to purchase
To buy airtime, SMS and data
Select the cellphone number you want to recharge (it will default to your own but you can enter a different number or search from your contacts)
Select which provider you use
Select an amount/bundle
Select your number or another number
If another number, insert the details
To buy electricity
Select meter number or enter a new meter number
Select an amount
